The small Bedouin village Dahab, which in the Arabic language means ‘Gold’, is considered to be one of Sinai’s most treasured diving destinations. The nearby Blue Hole is very famous amongst divers, and the coral reef which goes 800 meters deep. The former fishing village is also world-renowned for its windsurfing, and in more recent years for kite surfing, due to its reliable wind systems. It also offers land based activities like camel and horse riding, cycling and mountain biking, jeeps and quads. Or you can take to the air with your paraglider. It has everything. Dahab is just an hours drive away from Sharm El Sheikh’s international airport.
